Preparing for Christmas

Written by admin | Oct 3, 2025 11:41:28 AM

As the weather turns colder and the leaves change colour, it’s time to start planning for Christmas and the December payroll. Avoid a last-minute rush by having a conversation with your employees now to decide:

  1. What will your care needs be during the Christmas season?
  2. Will your staff be taking any holiday over Christmas?
  3. How will you cover their leave, if holiday is taken?

To give our staff a time to rest and be with their families, as in previous years, our office will be closed from 12pm on 24th December (Christmas Eve) until Monday 5th January. Emails will be monitored during this closure for urgent matters, but payrolls will not be processed.

December is an incredibly busy time for payroll so please take note of the changes to when your hours need to be sent to us:

Monthly static payrolls

Any changes for the December payroll need to be submitted to us by 30th November.

Monthly timesheet payrolls

Timesheets should be sent to us by 9th December to guarantee delivery before the Christmas break.

4-weekly static and timesheet payrolls

Changes and timesheets for Week 40 (period ending 28th December) need to be received by 12th December.

Payments

If we manage your funding and make payments on your behalf, salary payments to PAs will be processed on 31st December (last working day as usual). Payments to agencies, self-employed PAs and other third parties will be processed on 23rd December for invoices received up to 19th December. Invoices received after this will be processed for payment on Wednesday 7th January.
